Introduction

Welcome to Credible! This application (“App”) is owned and operated by CDC Phone App LLC (“CDC Phone App”). Credible helps you identify and reduce your use of filler words, enabling more confident communication. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Credible. Please read them carefully. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

  • Credible offers the following subscription plans:
    • Weekly: $4.99 per week
    • Monthly: $9.99 per month
    • Quarterly: $19.99 per 3 months
    • Annual: $49.99 per year
    • Lifetime: $99.99 (one-time purchase, no free trial)
  • Prices displayed are in US dollars and may be subject to change. Notice will be provided prior to price changes taking effect.
  • Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store account settings.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.

2. Free Trial

  • Credible offers a 7-day free trial for new users.
  • You must provide a valid payment method to start your trial.
  • If you do not cancel before the end of the 3-day period, your subscription will automatically begin, and you will be charged according to your chosen plan.

3. Refunds

  • Apple is responsible for processing all transactions related to the Credible App. All refund requests must be directed to Apple.
  • While CDC Phone App LLC endeavors to accommodate reasonable refund requests, please note that refunds are ultimately at Apple’s discretion. You may be eligible for a refund if you request it within 16 days of the initial purchase or subscription renewal date.

4. Lifetime Access

  • The “Lifetime” subscription grants access to Credible for the expected lifespan of the App as supported by CDC Phone App LLC.
  • CDC Phone App LLC reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Lifetime subscription or the Credible App at any time for reasons including, but not limited to, business, technological, or legal changes.
  • If the Credible App is discontinued, existing Lifetime subscriptions will be honored until the date of discontinuation or as otherwise legally permissible.

5. Content and Services

  • Credible provides features to track filler word usage and offers guidance on reduction strategies.
  • You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, rent, sell, lease, or create derivative works based on the App.

6. User Data

  • We collect data about your App usage to improve Credible’s functionality and user experience.
  • Your privacy is important to us. We will not share your personally identifiable information with third parties without your explicit consent.

7. Disclaimers

  • THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
  • CDC PHONE APP LLC DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT CREDIBLE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS OR THAT YOUR USE OF THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
  • YOU ASSUME ALL RISK ASSOCIATED WITH THE USE OF THE APP. CDC PHONE APP LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
  • Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York.

10. Changes to Terms

  • CDC Phone App LLC may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App following changes signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Mobile Terms of Service

CDC Phone App LLC

The CDC Phone App LLC mobile message service (the “Service”) is operated by CDC Phone App LLC (“CDC Phone App LLC”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

By consenting to CDC Phone App LLC’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of CDC Phone App LLC through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).

You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with CDC Phone App LLC. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.

We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.

You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to [insert your sending number] or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You’ll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other CDC Phone App LLC mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

For Service support or assistance, text HELP to [insert your sending number] or email info@soundcredible.com.

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.

The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.
